The New Phenix Maxim Series utilizes a Multi-axis Carbon Fiber scrim. This allows Phenix to build extremely light and sensitive rods. Phenix then utilizes a cross wrapped Carbon Tape to insure strength and proper flex. It also features a new Phenix Designed up locking reel seat. The Casting models feature a split trigger design with the durability and performance of a single piece reel seat. Slender High density EVA handles are comfortable for all day use.

The newly revamped M1 bass spinning rods feature an upgraded blank utilizing 36Ton Toray Carbon Fiber With a K-Woven scrim, with Phenix Proprietary Nanolite resins to make it lighter, stronger, and more sensitive than ever before! The New M1 Bass Rods feature a vortex solid one-piece blank for increased sensitivity. The M1 utilizes a custom carbon fiber reel seat, Essex SiC guides, clip style hook keeper, and a AAA grade Portuguese cork grip.
